Having fallen asleep on a train and arrived in the humble Hokko village, you are handed a full-blown house, which is not something you’d expect in the current economic climate. The big heads and lean, human bodies, particularly of the rabbits, gave us the willies. These animal-tronics lack animations or expressions, so they come across more like furries than feasible characters. The characters in Hokko Life are Animal Crossing by way of Five Nights at Freddy’s. If we were being unkind, it doesn’t feel much like a Team17 game at all. It makes Hokko Life a little on the disappointing side, as it is more humdrum and uninspiring than it is innovative. He’s doing his best and you give him a BAD rating for not being able to speak German? You can learn English … only the greetings don’t go with that, otherwise everything is great.Ĭlearly, volume and mouse are not adjustable, but what are the Windows mixer and the Windows mouse settings for? Does the developer simply give 2-3 days or more for the bug fixes that you can play it in peace without crashes and everything is fine? a bad rating can destroy the whole game, it’s just perfect, but some people have no idea and think they have to leave a bad rating after 3 hours of release because the single dev does not manage to make it perfect after 3 hours is just ridiculous.Hokko Life is published by Team17: a cheeky, puckish publisher who makes us smile just as much as they innovate. Sure it has a lot of bugs BUT it is the first day of the release, less than 3 hours have passed It is a single developer who gives all day to fix it. It’s just a very, very great game, we don’t understand these bad reviews at all.
